Human Rights International Day

International Human Rights Day is annually celebrated on December 10th around the world. This date commemorates the adoption and proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10th, 1948 by the General Assembly of the United Nations, which marked the first global enunciation of human rights. 

The Institute celebrates Human Rights Day by hosting a cultural immersion event at our facility that features authentic food, visual culture, music and more from a specific country or region around the world.
