International Human Rights Day Celebration

International Human Rights Day is annually celebrated on December 10 th around the world. The date commemorates the adoption and proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10 th , 1948 by the General Assembly of the United Nations.   The adoption marked the first global enunciation of human rights .

HREI Celebrates Human Rights Day annually by hosting events to celebrate and educate about the value of human rights and diversity.
