World Dollar Day

World Dollar Day is a fundraising event lead by the students of the HREI Student Committee.   World Dollar Day promotes the idea that even small amounts of giving can make a huge difference in the lives of people in need. For example, in much of the Third World, a dollar can feed a family for a day or a child for a week.  

This event will continue to expand regionally; then nationally, with a goal of having the event eventually recognized worldwide.

The proceeds from World Dollar Day are awarded annually in the form of a grant to two organizations that work to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and eliminate poverty.
