Al Williams is the Athletic Director at North Idaho College in 2003. He has more than 20 years of management experience in financial administration and more than eight years experience in coaching and athletics administration. Mr. Williams earned his Associate's degree from North Idaho College in 1979 while playing men's basketball. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Idaho, where he played basketball, as well. Later, Mr. Williams obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to coming to NIC, Williams was a men's basketball coach at the University of Denver.
He also held the positions of Vice President of Administration and Finance for Behre Dolbear & Company, an international mining consulting corporation in Denver, and VP of Operations for Englewood Community Health Organization (Chicago). Williams is also on the Board of Directors for the Habitat for Humanity, the Coeur d'Alene Library Foundation, the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations and the University of Idaho Business Advisory Board. Mr. Williams is also an active member of the Panhandle Kiwanis
